Resources
When I polled the highly unrepresentative masses of my
LJ friends list about making this site, they almost-unanimously declared that it should be a resources page rather than a showcase page, possibly because they knew how much I detest writing tutorials and how much more effort being helpful is than being a showoff. However, the public gets what the public wants.
Strictly speaking this isn't so much a resource as it is a convenient way for me to distribute things among my friends. Tutorials, longer fics, zip files of icon sets I've made and screencap packages can be got here. They aren't very organised, but if there's something that's missing that you want to see, please and I'll get you what you want if I can.
Galleries by film - I have capped what I needed for my own purposes in each case, but I own a lot of these films and can always put up more on request, as long as you are prepared to be patient.
There aren't many, and they're absolutely ancient, but with any luck there will be something there that works for someone. I strongly suggest skipping along to
buhfly's website for celebrity wallpapers, though, as she is much better at them than I am ever likely to be.
On last count there were well over a thousand of these. They aren't arranged by any particular order, they vary in quality and content and file extension, but they are all 100px by 100px or smaller; only a very few are over 40k, so they're pretty much all useable on places like
Livejournal,
Deadjournal,
Journalfen or
Greatestjournal. Credit is nice, but not really required outside of acknowledging that you didn't make the damned thing when someone asks. And even that isn't actually vital.
For you to download and customise. They're separate from the main downloads section for no reason other than "because I said so" and because when
I was trawling the interweb in search of website templates to pull apart and redo, it was usually easier when people had a separate page for them. In recognition of how hypocritical it would be for me to stop y'all from taking "my" html and doing what you want with it, none of the layouts are credited to me and none of them need to be. Have fun.
