Let's face it, no one reads this section of a website so I can pretty much say whatever I like here.

Basics

Name: Delirium/Derek Des Anges. Not the name on my birth certificate, but since I don't want that circulating the internet while nosy potential employers have their grubby mitts on Google, that's the best you're going to get.
DoB: 30th of October, 1982.
Nationality: British, with a functioning passport.
Height: A miserly five feet and eight inches. Absolutely no idea what that is in metric.
Fat? It's the internet. Hell yes I'm overweight.

Likes

Food: Foie gras, pizza, anything with squid/octopus in, really stodgy pies, wedding cake, rare steak (particularly ostrich or kudu), roasted anything, things that make your arteries weep, cucumber, sushi.
Drink: Cheap red wine, expensive port, whiskey-and-coke, French hot chocolate, cheap tea, elderflower presse, water-if-I'm-dancing.
Music: Most. Rock, Metal, Folk, Indie, Blues, Jazz, Country, Pop, Punk, Old School R'n'B, Soul, Techno, House, Mash-ups, people throwing washing machines down stairs, Hip-hop, Classical. I love acquiring new music. Hint. Hint. Are you in a band?
Films: Considerably pickier. I like feel-good retarded films like Bubble Boy, angsty tear-jerkers like Bent or Brokeback Mountain, buddy movies, war films that focus on the individual (I hated Black Hawk Down like poison), cult movies like Withnail & I, historical movies like Lawrence of Arabia and mean-spirited comedies - the more vicious and spiteful the better.
Art: BUT WHAT IS ART? Ahem. Well, now. I get quite bored in art galleries and skip to the stuff I like, so I obviously know what I like. And what I like is something that arrests you. Oh, and Banksy. Also: Very fond of being given money.

Hobbies

What, do you think I'd be on the internet if I had real hobbies?

Writing, reading, drawing, looking at art, watching crappy television on Hallmark, making websites, drinking, clubbing (swing clubs, cheesy gay clubs, and previously cybergoffic rubbish), hitting on women who would absolutely never date me, and fine dining. I hang out in big libraries and museums more than is healthy. I have a fragile and fluttering social life which is frequently crushed in favour of making screen-caps or icons. My nerdery and desire to show off in public places knows no bounds.
